Guide to actions before/after treatment for individuals
Isolate pets during a partial treatment; for a full treatment they should be taken out of the premises.
Remove and carefully cover food that the aerosol could reach.
Remove personal hygiene items from the bathroom.
Remove food and dishes from open surfaces and store them in vapour-proof packaging (hermetically sealed glass or tin containers) or in the fridge.
Leave all folding furniture in the unfolded position (if treating for bedbugs).
Check books for black dots along the binding — these are traces of bedbug activity. If such traces are present, the book should be thrown away.
Wallpaper is also checked for black dots. If found, it is recommended to remove the wallpaper for maximum effect.
Put personal belongings and toys away in cupboards.
Cover household appliances (fridge, TV, computer and other electronics) with plastic film.

After the treatment, air the premises for an hour. No one should be inside during airing.
Sweep up all insects you find on the floor into a bag and dispose of them.
Then wet-clean the working surfaces (tables, shelves, cabinets, door handles) and the floor, stopping 15-20 cm short of the skirting boards and walls! Wash the dishes well with cleaning agents. There is no need to specially wash off the product along the walls! If a residual insecticide smell remains, all surfaces are washed with a baking-soda solution.
Try not to wash the product off walls, skirting boards, the backs of fridges, sinks, tables, behind utility pipes, door frames and other hard-to-reach places for 2 weeks.
After airing, wipe the surfaces you will touch (tables, cabinets, shelves, windowsills, door handles, etc.) and wash the floors, stopping 15-20 cm short of the skirting boards.
Wash bed linen at a high temperature and iron it.
